Expect action packed drama from start to finish.

2019 sees World Cup fever, and this time it takes us to Japan.

This year 20 nations will put up their best efforts, in order to try and win the coveted The Webb Ellis Cup. Imagine being there with your home nation taking home the glory.......

History of The Rugby World Cup

Rugby is relatively new as an international tournament when compared to the likes of The Olympics and The Football World Cup, but it's rise as a spectacle has been incredible.

The first edition of the World Cup was held in New Zealand and Australia in 1987 with New Zealand reigning supreme. Since then every four years, teams fight it out to be crowned world champions.

The World Cup has had some incredible moments, such as the great Jonah Lomu bulldozing through England's defence, Nelson Mandela handing out the trophy to South Africa's winning captain, and Jonny Wilkinson's winning drop goal. This drama and excitement now makes The Rugby World Cup one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

Winners include:

1987 New Zealand
1991 Australia
1995 South Africa
1999 Australia
2003 England
2007 South Africa
2011 New Zealand
2015 New Zealand
